Quick overview FUTURA Smart for suppliers

Welcome to FUTURA. On this page we give you a brief overview of what you can accomplish with FUTURA Smart.

What is FUTURA Smart?

FUTURA Smart is a cloud-based and modular platform for SAP-based purchasing and provides seamless, digitally networked business processes for purchasers and suppliers worldwide. Thanks to smart networking and automation options, the purchasing department has the flexibility to take requests for quotation and procurement to the next level of digitalization efficiently and sustainably – with SAP as the digital core.


All suppliers invited to a request for quotation will receive their own FUTURA account. Suppliers add their own master data during registration. They can view the request for quotation, edit and submit their quotation and manage their company profile via their company account.


This is what the process looks like on your side in 5 simple steps:

  1. You will receive an invitation to the request for quotation by e-mail – login details for the first login, to create a quotation or to process an order confirmation, for example, will be sent automatically

  2. You open the request for quotation in your company account and calculate or enter the prices

  3. You specify the delivery time

  4. You specify a validity date

  5. You submit the quotation – done!


You can exchange messages with the purchaser via FUTURA Smart. By doing so, communication is bundled in a central location and can be viewed transparently by other persons in charge, e.g. in the case of a substitution. This ensures that inquiries are clarified promptly and transparently so that you can submit the best possible quotation.
